Info
Wasia Project come to Rough Trade East in London on September 19, 2026 to mark the release of Nocturne with an in-store signing built for close-up connection. Centered on siblings Olivia Hardy (vocals, guitar) and William Gao (piano, vocals), the project has been shaping a chamber-pop lane where indie pop hooks, light jazz harmonies, soft electronic touches and a classical sensibility sit side by side.
Nocturne is the perfect excuse to revisit what makes their songs stick: intimate writing, melodic lines that feel lived-in, and arrangements that leave room for nuance. If you’ve followed them from “Why Don’t U Love Me” through the EPs How Can I Pretend? and Isotope, or caught “Ur So Pretty” via Heartstopper, this date is a chance to put faces to the music and celebrate the new chapter in person.
