Info
On February 4, 2027, Signs of the Swarm lands at TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht) with a set that strips deathcore down to the bone: brutal death influences, lumbering downtempo passages, and technical outbursts in a single go. With drummer and composer Bobby Crow at the helm, the band has built a recognizable machine of splintering riffs, hard tempo shifts, and a dreary atmosphere, a trajectory that began with Senseless Order and The Disfigurement of Existence. With David Simonich behind the mic, the whole thing sounds extra deep and relentless, as on Vital Deprivation, Absolvere, and Amongst the Low & Empty, where they inject more dynamics and rhythmic tension into their violence. Ten56 opens the evening and delivers a contemporary blend of slowed-down deathcore, hardcore, and nu-metal with industrial edges. Led by Aaron Matts, the vocals switch between saturated screams, rap-like phrasing, and spoken passages, while samples and electronic textures let the whole thing simmer. Expect massive guitars, sludgy grooves, and a set that draws as much from the club floor as from the dark recesses of the mind.
