February 15, 2027 in Warsaw, Signs of the Swarm are coming to Proxima with material that shows why they have been at the forefront of modern deathcore for years. This is music built on brutal, death-metal riffs, slam breakdowns, and constant tempo changes, where heaviness meets technical precision. After years of lineup upheaval, the band today has a distinctive vocal identity and a characteristic dark atmosphere, and live their songs closer to controlled chaos than to a smooth ride from start to finish.
ten56 is a project by Aaron Matts, who after leaving Betraying The Martyrs moved toward a blend of slowed-down deathcore, metalcore, nu-metal, and industrial textures. Thick guitars, abrupt rhythms, samples, and a vocal wandering between screams and rap phrasing do the heavy lifting here, primarily in direct contact with the crowd.
Oceans Ate Alaska bring technical metalcore from Birmingham: syncopations, fractured structures, contrasts of melody and aggression. On the tour they also have a new chapter with vocalist Joel Heywood.
Face Yourself open the evening with deathcore, with a MySpace-era edge, but delivered in a modern, tight form.
