About Bogfinkevej
Back in 2016, within a hip-hop collective on Bogfinkevej, friends Lau, Mads and Søren laid the groundwork for what would soon become their musical breakthrough. A singer with a guitar and two of Aarhus’s rappers formed a trio named after the street where they lived, and from their first release Smilets By they drew Aarhusians into a locally patriotic chorus.
In 2025 Bogfinkevej embarked on their first nationwide tour in more than five years, and they continuously release new recordings enriched with the signature ingredients: catchy hooks, poetic lyrics and self-deprecating reflections. Bogfinkevej is the love of where you come from, and those who helped shape who you are today. Perfect for an Aarhusian homecoming at Volume Village on December 26, 2026.
