Pint Window Productions welcome back A Love From Outer Space to Dublin in 2026 at The Sound House.
Founded by the late Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston, friends, acid house veterans and sonic adventurers, A Love From Outer Space (ALFOS) was initially the result of a shared love of slower paced sounds, incorporating a diverse array of musical selections from dub to italo, Balearic to synthwave. With the passing of Andrew Weatherall in 2020, Sean Johnston continues to nurture Weatherall’s memory and carry the ALFOS torch across the UK and Europe.
During lockdown, Sean brought the spirit of A Love From Outer Space online to Twitch in the form of the ALFOS Emergency Broadcast System, a cosmic disco in virtual space that offered a connection for listeners across Ireland, the UK and beyond. The return of clubs and festivals brought new energy and renewed togetherness to the ALFOS parties, with regular missions to established and newer ALFOS chapters, from metropolitan centres to further flung enclaves, including underground venues such as the Berkeley Suite in Glasgow, Phonox in London and the Golden Lion in Todmorden.
This night presents Sean Johnston taking the decks and steering the ship all night long, for a 5 hour set: the full A Love From Outer Space experience.
Based on a recent visit to the Berkeley Suite to witness ALFOS, we are going red on this night in celebration of the red room institute in Glasgow.
