On September 18, 2026, Schrotthagen lands in Amsterdam for Free Your Mind x Schrotthagen at Het Sieraad. The German duo, formed in 2023, brings two worlds together: Dieter Schleip, who comes from film music and likes to think in scenes, and Giovanni Berg, a producer with classical and jazz roots and a keen sense for the dance floor. Their starting point was once a techno track for a film scene, and you can still hear it: cinematic techno in which a tight, propulsive pulse collides with trance-like textures and tension arcs you would expect from soundtracks. Live, it revolves around melodic builds, atmospheric layers, and rhythms that remain under constant tension, without letting go of the danceable frame. With releases such as Sturm und Drang (2024) and Nostalgie und Traurigkeit (2025), they quickly built a recognizable format: dark, emotional, and direct, made for those who enjoy being drawn into the music and want to keep moving.
