The Mission return to Warsaw with the Europe 2027 tour, and on October 8, 2027 they will perform at Proxima in a show built around new material. The band says that the setlist will feature tracks from the forthcoming album planned for autumn/winter 2026, alongside a selection of tracks from their entire discography. This is a good opportunity to hear live a band that since 1986 has consistently fused gothic rock and post-punk with a heavier rock edge: expansive guitars, powerful choruses, and that distinctive, lyrical darkness. The Mission were formed around Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams after leaving The Sisters of Mercy, and over the years they have built up a string of singles that have become staples of the alternative canon. At the concert one can expect a cross-section from the early albums in the style of God's Own Medicine, through Children and Carved in Sand, to the band's later incarnations.
