Info
On February 11, 2027, at the New Theatre Oxford, Emeli Sandé marks 15 years of Our Version of Events with a live set built around the album that pushed her from songwriter-for-hire to centre stage. Expect those piano-led songs to be back in the spotlight, with her voice moving between contemporary R&B, soul, gospel touches and pop hooks, the way the record always did.
This anniversary show is also a good way to hear how that early repertoire connects to everything she’s released since: the more inward turn of Long Live the Angels, the modern soul and rhythmic pop stretch of Real Life, and the later chapters that followed. A night for people who grew up with “Heaven” on repeat, and for anyone who wants to catch how Sandé’s writing and phrasing still hit hardest when the room goes quiet and the melody takes over.
