Cassyette lands in Cardiff on September 26, 2026 at Clwb Ifor Bach with a set built for anyone who likes their pop hooks rough around the edges. Born Cassy Brooking in Essex, she’s been shaping her solo project since 2018, pulling from alternative rock, metal, emo and electropop without picking just one camp. Expect big, melodic choruses rubbing up against abrasive guitars and electronic textures, the kind of hybrid writing that first took shape across early singles and the Sad Girl Mixtape (2022), then fully opened out on her debut album This World Fucking Sucks (2024).
Live, Cassyette’s music is made for impact: quick switches from sleek, synth-led moments to heavier breakdowns, with a voice that can cut through both. She’s also brought her pen and presence to the heavier scene, including work with Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and a writing credit on Bambie Thug’s Doomsday Blue.
