Westside Cowboy land at Rough Trade Nottingham on September 3, 2026 for an intimate instore set built around their new album It Goes On. Shaped as a true quartet with Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy, the band leans into collective playing and songs that feel lived-in: taut guitars, wide melodies, and a deliberately rough edge they call “Britainicana,” somewhere between country, indie rock and art rock.
After turning heads on the UK independent circuit and releasing the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There in early 2026, they bring that same push-and-pull onstage: rock tension cut with folk-country inflections, choruses that stick without trying to cosplay Americana. Expect a close-up version of their live energy, the kind that’s been sharpened on fast-moving tours and shared bills, where the direct, abrasive side of their writing comes through first.
