On February 3, 2027, Haken lands at Slay Glasgow for a night built for people who like their rock to take detours. The London progressive rock/metal band has a way of stretching songs into long, shifting journeys: sudden time-signature turns, tight rhythmic games, big melodic vocal lines, and keyboards that can swing from cinematic to razor-sharp.
Since forming in 2007, Haken have kept pushing that crossover mindset, moving from the narrative ambition of Aquarius and Visions to the more focused balance of complexity and hook on The Mountain, then expanding their palette again across Affinity, Vector, Virus and Fauna. Expect a set that plays with tension and release, where technical precision never fully cancels out atmosphere, and where each track feels like it’s constantly rewriting its own map in real time.
