Haken land in Dublin on February 2, 2027 at The Academy with their trademark crossover of progressive metal and prog rock: long-form songs built on shifting time signatures, tight rhythmic turns, melodic vocal lines and keyboards that don’t just decorate, they drive the momentum. Formed in London in 2007, the band has carved out a sound where technical precision meets storytelling and big, evolving arrangements.
Live, their catalogue plays like a journey through different eras of the same band: the narrative ambition of Aquarius and Visions, the sharper balance of complexity and catchier hooks on The Mountain, and the more modern, hard-edged stretch running through Vector and Virus, up to Fauna’s newer colours.
