If you’ve followed Teddy Swims in recent years, you know that it all starts with the voice. The Atlanta-born singer and songwriter, born Jaten Dimsdale, moves effortlessly between soul and R&B with a pop sensibility that sometimes leans toward gospel, rock and country. After building his audience through interpretations on the web, he has shifted to original material that is as direct as it is vulnerable, with a focus on relationships, self-doubt and trying to find his way back.
With I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) he takes that blend to the fullest: ballads that have room to breathe, modern R&B production and songs that can spill over into pop-rock without losing their edge. On stage, it’s the same thing, just bigger: a tight band, plenty of groove, and a frontperson who doesn’t hide behind filters. Teddy Swims comes to Avicii Arena in Stockholm on March 5, 2027 with The Ugly Tour.
