Mr. Scruff embodies this kind of DJ set, where after an hour you realize: this will be a real journey. He has been behind the decks since the 1980s, and as a producer he has released work on more than 25 labels, with releases such as 'Sea Mammal', 'Get A Move On', 'Keep It Unreal', 'Trouser Jazz', or 'Friendly Bacteria'—already a fixture on the scene. He fearlessly traverses the entire danceable world, not as wild flailing but as a clean, interwoven flow, with technique and timing that carry the momentum. Then comes his second pillar: as a graphic designer and cartoonist, Scruff also brings his own visual cosmos, which holds the evening together more than just musically. On 9 October 2026 he will stop by Gretchen in Berlin.
As a guest, moe. is part of the night: a DJ, producer and globe-trotter, originally from Sudan, raised in Abu Dhabi, with stops from New Orleans to Stockholm, now living in Berlin. His sets are deep and hypnotic, somewhere between Techno, organic textures and experimental edges—driven by propulsive grooves, warmth and a palpable love for the dancefloor. Outside the booth, he is also active, for example in radio and as a community organizer, always focusing on how music opens spaces and brings people together.
