On 4 September 2026, Key Vinyl brings its signature sound to Open Ground in Wuppertal, with Freddy K as the central figure of the label. Active since the early 1990s in Rome’s techno scene and later based in Berlin, he stands for long, physical sets that run at high tempo, with clear repetition and a narrative arc that revolves not around hits but around flow. His selections fuse 90s references with contemporary, unadorned club material, remaining uncompromisingly functional.
Also on the bill is Beste Hira, now anchored in Amsterdam, whose mixes draw hypnotic, dark, and fast techno lines. Her classical training is not heard as a quotation, but in the way she builds transitions and dynamics: precise, patient, with a sense for minimal textures and drive. Toobris completes the lineup with a Berlin-influenced approach to DJing and production that pushes the evening forward.
