On August 16, 2026, at Exit Air in the WDM Club in Hannover, L.zwo meets Afem Syko — two Berlin-based acts who understand club music not as a category but as a playing field. L.zwo hails from the melodic techno corner, but in recent years he has steered his project consistently toward trance: clear melodies, driving progressions, and an energy that keeps pushing forward on the dancefloor without getting lost in effects. The result is sets that fuse drive and emotion, while remaining unadorned.
Afem Syko, meanwhile, leans into friction and tempo: techno as the underlying tension, complemented by breaks and drum-and-bass drives that repeatedly tilt into trancey peaks. His handwriting thrives on contrasts, darker textures, and clean transitions that don’t wash the flow away but sharpen it. Together, they promise an afternoon that swings between melodic pull and angular force.
