On October 3, 2026, SOUNDIT opens the season at La Monumental (Barcelona) with a night dedicated to Detroit and to the club music that originated there to change everything.
Carl Craig and Moodymann meet in a back-to-back with a long history: the former, a key figure in Detroit's second wave of techno, always moving between electronic, soul, jazz and ambient; the latter, Kenny Dixon Jr., has spent decades stretching house with a slow groove, samples, funk and that city-narrative that is felt more than explained. To top it off, Mike Banks joins live: founder of Underground Resistance, a central figure of Detroit's rawest and most political sound, capable of crossing techno, acid and industrial energy without losing the pulse.
Complete the lineup: Laia, from Barcelona, with a sound that moves naturally through techno, house and minimal, and Klara Missyle, a veteran behind the booth, curating sessions where deep-tech, disco, funk, UK garage and breaks fit without falling into the predictable.
