Amble

Amble bring their quietly detailed folk to Rock City, Nottingham, on 5 October 2026. The Irish trio write for voices and guitars, favouring close harmonies, unhurried tempos and arrangements that leave space around the words. Their songs circle relationships, vulnerability and the everyday, with plainspoken lines that settle in gently. On stage, Amble keep things stripped back: simple song structures, warm acoustic textures, and melodies sung in unison or layered like a small choir. Formed at the start of the 2020s and first shared widely online, they honed their material in intimate rooms across Ireland before carrying it further afield. The live format stays true to that approach: contemporary folk with an indie edge, direct and human, shaped for a room where you can hear the grain of a voice and the shimmer of a guitar. The set moves between hush and lift, letting the writing breathe and the choruses find their place in real time.
