Black Stone Cherry

Black Stone Cherry bring their Kentucky-born hard rock to Bournemouth on 14 January 2027 at O2 Academy Bournemouth. Since 2001, the band has honed a sound built on southern riffs, blues grit and sharp, melodic hooks. Fronted by singer-guitarist Chris Robertson alongside guitarist Ben Wells, they broke through with their self-titled debut in 2006, introducing Rain Wizard and Lonely Train, then sharpened the formula on Folklore and Superstition, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and Magic Mountain. Recent releases The Human Condition and Screamin’ at the Sky keep the guitars raw and the songwriting direct, shifting from heavier edges to rootsy shades without losing the groove.

On stage, the quartet stitches early staples with newer cuts, stacking rugged twin guitars, tight rhythms and choruses made to be thrown back at the band. Expect a straight-ahead rock set: thick tones, unvarnished vocals and that southern swing they’ve made their signature, shaped by two decades on the road and a fanbase that knows the words.
