Ethan Regan

Ethan Regan brings his alternative folk to The Garage, Glasgow, on 6 December 2026. Raised between Raleigh and Charlotte, he writes, sings, plays and produces his own tracks, shaping a sound where a stripped-back songwriter core rubs against shades of rock, hip-hop and funk. The voice stays out front, with arrangements that move in small, minimal shifts: fingerpicked patterns, soft drum loops, warm bass lines, details that serve the song rather than dress it up. Since a first single in 2019, he has traced a clear path with the EPs Exist. and Sixty Miles on Seventy-Seven (2020), then the album parlor. (2021). In 2023, titles like durham, my fault, wildflowers and secrecy found an audience online around the EP we could’ve done this together, followed in 2024 by the EP timbuktu and the single peach tree. On stage, he keeps things close and direct, reworking studio textures with a DIY touch, and has previously opened for Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Chelsea Cutler and Jeremy Zucker. This date lines up material from across his releases, carried by that calm, clear vocal and a live setup that shifts naturally from hush to groove.
