Matthew and the Atlas is the project of Hampshire songwriter Matt Hegarty, whose blend of folk, indie and atmospheric songwriting has developed over the past fifteen years.
To mark the tenth anniversary of Temple and its companion Temple Unplugged, Hegarty returns to the stage at Bristol Beacon on 11 November 2026 at 8:00 pm with longtime collaborators Emma Gatrill and Alex Roberts.
Performing Temple Unplugged in full, the trio revisit the album's intimate arrangements for acoustic guitar, harp, clarinet, banjo, piano and double bass. The show also draws from across the Matthew and the Atlas catalogue, marking a decade of thoughtful songwriting.
