Martin Luke Brown plays Strange Brew, Bristol on 24 November 2026. Leicester-born and now London-based, he crafts melodic indie-pop shaded with soul and light R&B. Since the mid-2010s he’s shared singles and EPs built around a clear voice, keyboards and guitar, with lean arrangements that leave room for lyrics about intimacy, relationships and identity. After an early spell on a major, he steered his project independently, refining a more personal, handmade production style alongside writing for other pop projects.

On stage, Martin Luke Brown keeps things close and focused, moving between solo moments and a compact live setup. The set flows from hush to pulse, reworking songs with warm keys, unfussy guitar lines and stacked harmonies. His shows often thread early tracks with more recent material, drawing a clean line between alternative pop and modern soul without losing the directness of his writing. A support act opens the night.
