Dance Yrself Clean w/ The Horrors (djs)

The Horrors take over the decks for Dance Yrself Clean on 25 July 2026 at The Shacklewell Arms, London. Led by Faris Badwan, the band’s selector side mirrors their own trajectory: from garage-goth roots into post-punk, new wave and darker electronic currents. Expect a floor-driven trip that threads motorik rhythms, cold synth textures and shadowy melodies, echoing the shift from Strange House to the synth-charged Primary Colours, the expansive palettes of Skying and V, and the harsher, industrial-tinged edges explored on Lout, Against the Blade and Night Life. It’s a DJ set, channelling their nocturnal aesthetic into club form.

Alongside Badwan, DYC residents Marcus Harris and Harry James hold the line with a taut blend of post-punk basslines, wiry guitars, new wave hooks, electro pulse and leftfield detours. The night leans into the darker side of the dancefloor without losing momentum, stitching together cuts that speak to The Horrors’ universe while keeping it direct and physical.
