Info
On 5 November 2026 at O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, Deaf Havana revisit the era of Fools and Worthless Liars. Formed in Norfolk in 2005, the band moved from post-hardcore beginnings to a more melodic, guitar-led alternative rock after 2010; the 2011 album marked that turn with reflective writing and wider choruses. Now led by brothers James and Matthew Veck-Gilodi, they bring that catalogue into the present, drawing a line from the raw energy of their early releases to the broader arrangements of Old Souls, All These Countless Nights and The Present Is a Foreign Land. A set leaning into textures, hooks and storytelling from Fools and Worthless Liars, revisited through the focus of their current duo format.
Special guests The Dangerous Summer open the night. Since 2006, the Maryland outfit has woven alt rock, emo and pop-punk into direct, melodic songs about growing up and moving forward. Fronted by AJ Perdomo, the band’s path runs from Reach for the Sun and War Paint to recent releases Coming Home and Gravity, keeping a clear taste for clean hooks and a live dynamic shaped by the American punk circuit. Setting the tone before Deaf Havana take the stage at Shepherd's Bush.
