On 14 December 2026, Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn bring their ongoing MOTH Club residency back to London. Best known together as Everything But The Girl, they play as a part-acoustic, part-electronic duo, with Rex Horan on double bass and Family Stereo’s Blake Watt on guitar and vocals. The setlist spans 40 years: songs from their work as a duo alongside material from their respective solo catalogues.
The evening is structured in two sets with an interval, no support act, and a mostly seated format that keeps the focus on the music. Arrangements pivot between hushed guitar and upright bass, minimal electronics and drum programming, and close harmonies, tracing the path from early folk-pop contours to the club-leaning textures they embraced in the 1990s and revisited in recent years. Understated and direct, the show centres their writing and voices, with Horan’s bass as a grounding thread and Blake Watt adding colour and counterpoint. Venue: MOTH Club.
