New York trio Tchotchke blend candy-coated rock 'n' roll, power pop and vocal harmonies into a sound inspired by Todd Rundgren, 1960s girl groups and outsider pop. Formed by Anastasia Sanchez, Eva Chambers and Emily Tooraen, the band released their 2022 debut, produced by The Lemon Twigs, then toured with acts including King Tuff, Broncho and The Gossip.
Their second album, Playin' Dumb, again produced by The Lemon Twigs, builds on that retro pop foundation with focused songwriting, expanded arrangements and tongue-in-cheek songs about love, femininity and melodrama. Tchotchke balance classic pop elements with dynamic shifts. They perform at The Lanes, Bristol on 9 October 2026 at 6:00 pm.
