Overmono

Overmono will perform on 12 November 2026 at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin. The duo of brothers Tom and Ed Russell — known to many as Truss and Tessela — have for years distilled UK-rave DNA into a contemporary sound that moves between breakbeat, UK garage, jungle, grime, ambient and techno. Characteristic are angular drums, weighty basses and chopped vocal samples that melt together live into a dense, physical flow.

With So U Kno (2021) and the debut album Good Lies (2023), their cosmos opened up more toward song-oriented forms without sacrificing the energy of the dancefloor. Collaborations with Joy Orbison, High Contrast, Fred again.., Lil Yachty, The Streets and Kwengface demonstrate how effortlessly Overmono straddle soundsystem tradition and contemporary pop.

On stage, Tom and Ed condense this vocabulary into their live show Pure Devotion. The title stands for their principle: attention to detail, honesty in sound and devotion to rhythm and emotion. Expect an evening that short-circuits past and present, that brings pressure and fine detail together — a focused look at what UK rave can be today.
