On 28 August 2026 PIV at the Beach returns to Colorado Charlie in The Hague. The line-up focuses on two faces of contemporary house: Prunk and Robbie Doherty.
Prunk, the driving force behind PIV Records, delivers a smooth blend of deep and minimal house. Warm grooves, tight basslines and seamless transitions are at the heart of his sets, with long arcs that build organically. His selection breathes the Dutch house tradition, with influences from Chicago and the current European scenes, always functional and directly geared towards the dancefloor.
Robbie Doherty hails from Northern Ireland and situates his sound between ’90s house references, progressive tension and immediate club energy. Tracks like “It’s My Beat” and “Work It” demonstrate his feel for efficient drums and rounded basses, with subtle trance accents that keep the momentum. Releases on Knee Deep In Sound and neXup, along with the launch of his label Avenu with the single “Flawless,” paint the picture of a producer who writes his material for the moment it truly counts: the dancefloor. Expect tight rhythms and a groove that will get the beach moving.
