Gurriers

On 17 November 2026, Gurriers bring their sharp-edged sound to Circolo Magnolia in Novegro-Tregarezzo (MI), Italy. Formed in Dublin in the early 2020s, the Irish quintet works at the junction of post-punk, art-punk and noise rock, shaping lean, nervy tracks that go straight to the bone. Abrasive guitars and tight, propulsive rhythms frame a voice that shifts between blunt confrontation, urgency and cool detachment, keeping the pressure up without leaning on retro cues.

Their writing sticks close to the present: urban tension, normalized violence, the feeling of being pushed aside, and the contradictions of a shaky political moment. Lines stay concise, hooks are clipped, the energy is channelled rather than polished. After a run of singles, Gurriers released their debut album, Come and See, in 2024, broadening the angles without easing the intensity. On stage, they favor precision and impact: syncopated grooves, sudden turns, and guitar textures that grind and flare.
