Info
On 4 July 2026, The Lathums bring their Wigan-grown indie rock to Electric Studios in Sheffield. Formed in 2018 at TMP College, the quartet of Alex Moore, Scott Concepcion, Ryan Durrans and bassist Matty Murphy writes guitar-led songs that move between stripped-back ballads and up-tempo pop rock, built on clean riffs and direct melodies. Early self-releases like Artificial Screens and The Great Escape set the pace before a 2020 signing to Island and a run of EPs. Since then, the band has rolled out three albums — How Beautiful Life Can Be (2021), From Nothing to a Little Bit More (2023) and Matter Does Not Define (2025) — a catalogue that maps a path from tense, understated writing to fuller, punchier arrangements. On stage, they thread newer material with the songs that took them from local rooms to Glastonbury and support slots for Paul Weller, Blossoms and The Killers. The set keeps the focus on melodies, clear guitars and an unfussy delivery.
