Ole 60

On November 3, 2026, Ole 60 will play at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The seven-piece band from Hawesville, Kentucky, formed in 2023 around childhood friends Jacob Ty Young and Tristan Roby. Their sound ranges between country, alt‑country, southern rock and folk: rough electric guitars alongside warm acoustic layers, frequently featuring pedal steel, banjo and mandolin. The lyrics carry an Appalachian hue, with stories about small towns, cracks in relationships and a sober, earthy melancholy.

Live they draw from their catalogue to date: the EP three twenty-four (2023), Songs About You (2024), tracks like smoke & a light and Thoughts of You, and the debut album Smokestack Town (2025), produced by Jacquire King. After runs through the American country circuit, support shows for Dylan Gossett in 2024 and a debut at the Grand Ole Opry in early 2025, Ole 60 takes the stage with a tight band dynamic: narrative, rhythmic and with just enough rock energy to fray the edges of their country.
