Info
And So I Watch You from Afar were born of freezing cold winters on the northernmost tip of Ireland. They play raw, charging, experimental music that is hard to define. It is sometimes angular and noisy, sometimes pulsing and euphoric. Their live shows focus on energy and escapism. In 2006, they jumped in a van and didn’t stop. Across Europe, the USA, Russia, Asia, Central America, and Australia, touring relentlessly, they’ve slowly built a cult following around the world. Their albums are uncompromising and exploratory. They maintain a DIY approach.
Caspian’s music combines post-rock, metal, shoegaze, electronics, noise, minimalism, and ambient music. Their most recent record, On Circles, is an art-rock release with fourth-world saxophones, dubby textures, 7/8 rhythms, and hard-sawed cello from Jo Quail (Myrkur, Winterfylleth, Poppy Ackroyd). New music is on the way.
Lane Shi, known professionally as otay:onii, is an inquisitive and genre-defying artist. She is a multifaceted creator whose work spans performance art, composition, installation, and avant-garde music.
