Info
Francis of Delirium lands in Manchester on 24 September 2026 at YES. Led by Luxembourg-based songwriter Jana Bahrich, the project channels lean indie rock built on sharp guitars, melodic tension and moments that slip into something more dreamlike. On stage, the songs move with a clear sense of urgency and intimacy, voice up front, riffs tight, rhythms pushing then pulling back.
The set draws around Lighthouse, the 2024 debut album, with pieces like Real Love, First Touch, Blue Tuesday and Give It Back to Me, alongside earlier cuts from the EPs Wading and The Funhouse. New single Little Black Dress extends that line: punchy power-pop contours, hooks that ride over crashing drums, and lyrics that track the anticipation of a night out and the blur that follows. Bahrich has described wanting to bottle the energy and messiness of being on stage; live, that idea comes through in dynamic crescendos and a diaristic way of writing that keeps the focus on feeling without overstatement.
After sharing bills with The 1975, Soccer Mommy, Horsegirl and Kings of Leon, Francis of Delirium has shaped a show that’s compact and straight to the point, somewhere between indie grit and a discreet pop instinct. At YES, it plays out as a tight, emotionally clear set that favors movement, direct melodies and a lucid sense of melody over flash.
