ARSE emerged from suburban Sydney in 2017 and have since released Primitive Species, Safe Word, Kaputt and a split seven-inch with sax-and-drum duo Party Dozen, a partnership that forged the independent imprint Grupo.
Their sound has been likened to acts such as Morris-era Black Flag and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and they have shared bills with Amyl and The Sniffers, Cosmic Psychos, Hard-Ons, These New South Whales and Civic during Australian and European tours.
The music features guitars, heavy rhythms and production by band member Jonathan Boulet. At The Lanes on 9 August 2026 at 6:30 pm.
