Have Mercy

Blending the raw emotion of early emo with the weight and clarity of modern rock, Have Mercy has established a sound that is distinctly their own. Across six studio albums, the band has demonstrated both artistic growth and dedication to their craft.

Their journey has been marked by both triumph and adversity. A period of instability saw the lineup shift, but through sobriety, personal growth, and renewed purpose, the core members—Brian Swindle, Nick Woolford, Andrew Johnson, and Steve Wootteon—reunited in Baltimore, Maryland, revitalising the band with a renewed sense of direction.

Their latest album, "the loneliest place i've ever been" (Rude Records), is an introspective release. Balancing dark, emotionally driven lyricism with hooks, the record reflects a chapter in Swindle's journey toward sobriety. "It's the record we always wanted to make—dark yet hopeful, polished yet imperfect."
