This Is Lorelei

On 21 November 2026 at The Workman’s Club in Dublin, This Is Lorelei brings the intimate, shape-shifting songwriting of Nate Amos. The New York musician, also known for Water From Your Eyes, uses this project as a home for songs that drift between lo-fi indie pop, folk sketches and small experimental turns. Built since the mid-2010s through self-released tracks, the catalogue leans on clear melodies and arrangements that move without losing their simplicity. Box for Buddy, Box for Star (2024) marked a turning point and led to tours in the US and Europe. With Holo Boy (2025), Amos reframed pieces written between 2014 and 2021 into a more defined, guitar-forward sound, connecting different phases of his writing.

On stage, the set shifts from hushed, close-mic storytelling to bright, jangling guitars and unforced hooks, keeping the focus on songcraft and detail. Some titles have been picked up by peers like MJ Lenderman and Snail Mail; in Dublin, they return in their original voice, with that mix of clarity and lo-fi grain that anchors the project.
