The Haunted

The Haunted bring their Gothenburg-bred heaviness to The Underworld, London, on 8 October 2026. Formed in 1996 by musicians who cut their teeth in the Swedish death metal wave, including alumni of At The Gates, the band carved a lean, thrash-driven approach threaded with melodic bite and a hard, no-frills edge. Decades on, that blueprint still drives the live show: fast attacks, tight turns, and the kind of tension made for close quarters.

Today’s line-up gathers Marco Aro on vocals, Patrik Jensen on rhythm guitar, Ola Englund on lead guitar, Jonas Björler on bass and Adrian Erlandsson on drums, a unit that plays with precision and weight.

With their tenth album, Songs of Last Resort, released on 30 May 2025, The Haunted arrive with fresh material that sits naturally against their earlier cuts. On stage, they move between new tracks and catalogue essentials, riff-led surges and heavier, head-down passages. It’s a straight shot of Swedish metal from a band that keeps its focus on songs, impact and forward motion.
