White Denim bring their shape‑shifting rock to The Fleece, Bristol on 2 September 2026. Formed in Austin in 2006 around singer-guitarist James Petralli with bassist Steve Terebecki, the band cut its teeth in small rooms and a DIY studio mindset, folding garage urgency, psychedelic drift, soulful inflections, jazz‑fusion turns and punk snap into concise songs that can crack open on a dime. Across early releases like Workout Holiday, Exposion and Fits, then D and Corsicana Lemonade with the addition of guitarist Austin Jenkins, they built a vocabulary of restless grooves, quick pivots and melodies that nod to classic rock without losing their experimental streak. The Radio Milk era sharpened that approach on Stiff, Performance and Side Effects, followed by World as a Waiting Room, a joint project with Raze Regal, and 12. Live, White Denim lean into interplay and dynamics, stretching sections without drifting, stacking wiry riffs, tight rhythms and sudden detours into a set that traces their catalogue while leaving space for ideas to take shape in real time.
