Info
Kurt Vile & The Violators touch down at O2 Ritz Manchester on 11 September 2026. With Philadelphia’s been good to me, released in 2026, the Philadelphia songwriter brings a homecoming energy to new songs that circle back to his roots. Largely self-produced with Adam Langellotti, keyboardist Matthew Jugenheimer, drummer Kyle Spence, guitarist Jesse Trbovrich and longtime collaborator Rob Schnapf, the record treats music like a conversation, carried by unhurried electric guitars and close-up vocals. The title track reads as a love letter to his city with a sideways nod to Tom Petty. Chance to Bleed pulls in Memphis grit via guests Natalie Hoffman and Greg Cartwright, while You Don’t Know Cuz It’s My Life builds toward a chant made for a room full of voices. On stage, Vile and the Violators let songs breathe, threading indie rock, folk and a hazy psych drift honed from Constant Hitmaker to Wakin on a Pretty Daze and beyond, weaving new material with extended grooves.
