Info
Richmond, Virginia’s Broadside hits The Underworld in London on 28 May 2026. For the past decade, the band has been in steady motion, shaping a pop rock sound rooted in pop punk and brushed with emo tones. Drawing on AFI, Kings of Leon and Taking Back Sunday, they fuse nostalgic guitar bite with a clean, modern edge, carried by Ollie Baxxter’s clear, melodic vocals and a knack for choruses that stick.
Their path runs from the punch of Old Bones and Paradise to the wider, moodier writing of Into the Raging Sea, then the reflective pop-rock palette of Hotel Bleu, where the hotel motif framed self-reflection, fleeting moments and reinvention. On stage, Broadside leans into tight riffs, driving rhythms and a direct, conversational way of telling stories, turning personal themes into songs built for collective release.
This show gathers the band’s different phases into one set, moving between high-energy cuts and more atmospheric tracks while keeping the focus on melody and connection. With new material shaping their next era, Broadside stays true to what first drew listeners in: heartfelt songwriting, a sense of growth, and a live energy that feels immediate and unforced.
