Info
Chasing Abbey are a Tullamore trio of songwriters, producers and multi‑instrumentalists who blend club‑driven electronics with Celtic inflections. Emerging in the mid‑2010s, they’ve shaped a sound where melodic vocals and rap cadences ride sharp, percussive production. In recent years they’ve folded traditional Irish motifs into that framework — think contemporary drops meeting folk‑rooted phrases — a direction heard in releases that pivot easily from pop hooks to late‑night textures built for movement.
They bring this mix to Monroe’s Tavern in Galway on 18 July 2026. On stage, the trio run the full stack themselves, which gives the set a tight, rhythmic flow: synth lines and low‑end pressure, quick switch‑ups between sung refrains and agile flows, and choruses built to carry a room. New tracks Arís is Arís and Íorónta anchor the current moment, pointing to where their Celtic‑meets‑club palette is headed. With platinum singles behind them and a reputation for high‑energy shows, Chasing Abbey arrive ready to turn a dancefloor into a collective sing‑along, without losing the detail in their production.
