Tom Misch

Tom Misch will play Neue Welt in Berlin on 16 June 2026. The London-based producer, singer and guitarist has, since his early beat tapes, blended neo-soul, jazz-funk, hip-hop and pop into relaxed, melodic songs. Live he favors smooth grooves, warm harmonies and plenty of space for his guitar — between finely drawn hooks and open moments of improvisation.

His path runs from Beat Tape 1 and 2 through the EPs with Carmody and Reverie to the debut album Geography (2018). With Yussef Dayes, What Kinda Music (2020) opened the door to improvisation-friendly, electronically textured pieces; as Supershy he explored his club-oriented side on Happy Music in 2023. With Six Songs (2024) and the new album Full Circle (2026) he arcs back toward songwriting, without abandoning his jazz and broken-beat impulses.

On stage, his layered guitars and vocals meet a tightly locked ensemble that shifts between relaxed soul, buoyant rap grooves and danceable excursions. The setlist ties early mixtape themes to current material and leaves room for musical dialogue and richly detailed arrangements.
