Berlin-based DJ and producer Bad Boombox, aka Djeki, lands at Smolna in Warsaw on May 9, 2026. With roots in Sofia, a youth in the US and a craft sharpened in Berlin’s clubs, he pushes a fast, direct take on dance music built for the floor. His sets run 130–150 BPM, splicing techno, house, hard house and trance with flashes of Latin percussion, g-house-style vocals and Balkan swing. The palette is bold, colorful and a touch unruly, aimed at movement rather than purism.
On stage he threads eurodance memories into hardgroove pressure and rough-edged house, flipping between eras without hierarchy. Co-founder of Hot Meal Records, he also brings his own club tools: Freak Up, Medulla, Make It Wet and more, cuts built for impact and momentum. Tight drums, dry basslines, cheeky hooks and quick turns: Bad Boombox drives the room with a rave-minded energy that puts fun, color and tempo back at the center.
