1000mods

1000mods lands at Voodoo in Belfast on 21 November 2026. Since 2006, the Greek quartet has shaped a heavy rock language that blends stoner, psychedelic currents and desert rock. Live, the band builds dense, no-frills layers from thick riffs, shifting between forward thrust and deliberate heaviness, anchored by a melodic yet gritty vocal line. There is a clear thread to 1970s hard rock, filtered through the rawer energy of the underground.

The set should pull from Super Van Vacation (2011), Vultures (2014) and Youth of Dissent (2020): tighter song forms, repetitive grooves that pull you in without piling on effects, patient climbs and choruses kept lean. On stage, 1000mods aim for collective impact, with a rhythm section locked and insistent, guitars in wide, surging waves, and dynamics doing the heavy lifting. Expect a show built on tension and release rather than speed, where every shift hits with weight and the momentum never lets up.
