Info
The Beat bring their Dance Crazed Too UK Tour to O2 Academy Leeds on 14 October 2026, with Bad Manners in support. Born in North London around frontman Buster Bloodvessel at the tail end of the 1970s, Bad Manners helped power the British ska revival. A brass and keys-heavy lineup drives their blend of Jamaican ska, two-tone, light reggae and sharp-edged pop, with quick tempos, direct hooks and a mischievous streak that has long defined their gigs.
Expect a set that nods to early singles like Lip Up Fatty and Special Brew, alongside staples pulled from Ska ’n’ B, Loonee Tunes!, Gosh It’s… Bad Manners and Forging Ahead. Featured in the 1981 film Dance Craze, the band has carried that energy across decades, with Buster as the constant through multiple line-up shifts. Still touring widely, they deliver a lean, high-pace show built for movement and chorus shout-backs, setting the tone before The Beat take over. A live slice of the ska lineage, played with the immediacy that keeps these tunes alive on stage.
