Info

Ray LaMontagne brings the Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour to Bristol Beacon, Bristol, on 3 June 2026. Two decades after his debut, he returns to the album that introduced his rough-edged voice, quiet guitar work and slow-building melodies, revisiting the songs that shaped his early path. The show traces that origin point and opens onto the rest of his catalogue, from the hushed folk of Till the Sun Turns Black and the broadened textures of Gossip in the Grain to the rootsier grain of God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise, the retro hues of Supernova, the atmospheric drift of Ouroboros and the pared-back clarity of Part of the Light and Monovision. Between folk, Americana and a touch of soul, LaMontagne focuses on songwriting that lingers on relationships, doubt and inner landscapes, carried by a voice that keeps the center of gravity low and intimate.

Opening the night, Natalie Jane Hill sets the tone with an acoustic-first set that aligns with the tour’s understated spirit, easing the room into LaMontagne’s return to Trouble and the songs that followed.
