Franc Moody (dj set)

Franc Moody take over the decks at Jazz Cafe on 3 July 2026 for a DJ set rooted in the duo’s London blend of disco, funk and club electronics. Built by Ned Franc and Jon Moody out of an early obsession with drum machines, analogue synths and tight rhythm sections, the project has grown from Tottenham warehouse sessions to a sound designed for movement, with grooves that lean into the dancefloor without losing a melodic thread.

Across releases like Dream in Colour, House of FM and Into the Ether, followed by 2025’s Chewing The Fat, Franc Moody have shaped warm textures, elastic basslines and slow-burn progressions. In DJ mode, they weave their own cuts and edits with kindred selections spanning boogie, leftfield disco and house, guided by the same band-first sensibility that runs through their studio work.
