Gabrielle brings The Hits to Cardiff on 17 April 2027 at Cardiff International Arena. Raised in Hackney and first heard in London clubs, the singer-songwriter broke through in 1993 with Dreams, a blend of R&B, pop and soul that set the tone for a catalog built on direct writing, melodic hooks and steady grooves. Early albums Find Your Way and the self-titled Gabrielle followed, with singles like Give Me a Little More Time and the duet If You Ever with East 17. Around 1999 she moved toward a fuller, adult soul-pop on Rise, then reached a wider audience with Out of Reach for Bridget Jones’s Diary.
Since then, Gabrielle has continued along that line with Play to Win and Always, before returning with Under My Skin, then Do It Again and A Place in Your Heart. On stage, The Hits pulls from every era, joining ballads and mid-tempo tracks, carried by her distinctive voice and a band shaped for that R&B/soul-pop crossover.
