Sevendust

Sevendust brings its Atlanta-bred heavy groove to Electric Bristol in Bristol on 11 December 2026. Formed in 1994, the quintet has shaped a sound at the crossroads of heavy metal, hard rock and the 90s nu metal current: down-tuned riffs, syncopated rhythms and choruses that open up after the tension. Frontman Lajon Witherspoon carries the songs with a warm, forceful voice, alongside guitarists Clint Lowery and John Connolly, bassist Vince Hornsby and drummer Morgan Rose.

On stage, the band leans into tight dynamics and stacked vocal harmonies, shifting from punchy verses to melodic releases — a balance refined across albums like Sevendust (1997), Home (1999) and Animosity (2001), through Seasons, Alpha and Cold Day Memory, up to All I See Is War (2018), Blood & Stone (2020) and Truth Killer (2023). This date distills their signature blend: grooves locked to the pocket, percussive guitars and clean hooks, with a nod to the stripped-back colors first explored on Time Travelers & Bonfires (2014).
