Info

On 1 September 2026 at Custom House Square, Belfast, CMAT takes the stage with her blend of pop immediacy, country roots and an indie tilt. Under the name CMAT, Dublin’s Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson writes songs about relationships, solitude and everyday fixations, carried by a narrative voice that mixes irony with a clear sense of vulnerability. Her set moves between country-pop ballads and more up-tempo cuts, drawing from her debut If My Wife New I’d Be Dead (2022) and the follow-up Crazymad, For Me (2023), with a live presence built on direct exchange with the audience and a lightly theatrical touch.

Katy J Pearson joins with a palette that spans indie pop, pop rock and folk shaded by country and Americana. After early work with Ardyn, she launched her solo path with the single Tonight in 2019 on Heavenly Recordings, then released the albums Return (2020), Sound of the Morning (2022) and Someday, Now (2024). Clear guitars, tight songcraft and wider, airier arrangements shape her recent material, alongside collaborations with Nathan Jenkins, H. Hawkline and Davey Newington, and a 2024 appearance with Yard Act that hints at the range of her writing.
